The real star here, as echoed in the heartfelt reviews from visitors, is the food. The menu may be simple, but each dish is crafted with love and respect for local flavors. Indulge in their renowned plum cake, a rich, moist delight that Samadhi Ghosh accurately described as unparalleled—perfectly complementing the cool mountain air and your taste buds after a day of exploration. And don't miss out on the momos, praised by Ajith S as the “best in life” and a must-try brainchild of Sikkim’s culinary tradition.

Customers have echoed sentiments of gratitude for the team that operates this cafe, emphasizing its cleanliness and the soothing cups of tea and coffee that provide warmth in the crisp mountain climate. Sunil Kashyap's buoyant recommendation highlights how this little gem serves as an ideal spot for a short break, situated conveniently opposite the famed Baba Mandir.

Do not forget to visit the cafe once you reach Baba Mandir. We took plum cake and coffee and it was very tasty especially after trekking to the Bholenath statue. I never had such plum cakes anywhere. The place has an area to sit so that you can enjoy your short but memorable meal.

I had the best momos in life 13000 ft above the sea level at this restaurant run by the Indian Army. It's the only snacks joint near Baba Mandir and kudos to the team.

It's really creditable that people are running this cafe at 13000 ft. One can get light refreshments and tea / coffee etc. It's very clean and good place to take a short break. It's opposite the Baba Mandir

Getting a hot cup of coffee in icy cold environment certainly helps a lot. Thanks to indian army there's a cafe to feast on 13000 feet above sea level. The cafe is run by army personnel. Tea, coffee and momos are most popular dishes there. The foods gets out of stock very quickly so get there As soon as possible.
